I’ve just been interviewed by Anil Prasad for Innerviews. For anyone that doesn’t know the website, Innerviews has been talking with serious musicians for over 30 years and contains a fascinating and comprehensive collection of articles exploring the depths and heights of creativity with all the most respected names you might imagine, and from multiple genres.
Anil himself has carefully collected and curated (as well as archived) these wonderful interviews for anyone interested in culture and artistry, and music in particular. He has always been one of the most insightful and sensitive of interviewers, as I realised the day, 26 years ago that I first received a set of questions from him to answer on tape. (That interview is still available on the Innerviews site).
This time I’ve been talking to him about ‘Echo’, live work, and life after losing my voice. Find the written interview here with the video below. Or if you prefer Youtube, there’s a video version here.
